Manage your account, team, and permissions
Update your profile and preferences, then manage organization membership when your role permits it.
Update your account profile#
- Open Settings → Account
Open the profile menu, choose Settings, and keep Account selected.
- Enter edit mode
Choose Edit Profile to enable the editable profile fields.
- Edit your name
Update the first and last name teammates use to identify you. The registered email address is displayed but is not edited in this form.
- Upload a profile image
Choose a JPG, PNG, GIF, or TIFF image under 5 MB. The selected image uploads immediately, so wait for confirmation before leaving.
- Save profile changes
Choose Save Changes and wait for confirmation before leaving the tab.
Change your password and confirm email status#
- Choose Change Password
Enter the current password to prove account ownership.
- Enter the new password twice
Use at least eight characters and follow any stronger requirements shown by the form.
- Submit the change
Wait for success, then use the new password the next time the platform asks you to authenticate.
- Review Email Verification
Check whether the email is verified and when it was confirmed. Use resend if verification remains incomplete.
Choose language and theme#
- Open Preferences
Scroll to the language and theme controls in Account settings.
- Choose a language
Select English, Japanese, or French where the client offers the language control. Japanese product routes use `jp`; this documentation uses `/ja`.
- Choose a theme
Select the available light, dark, or system-related presentation offered by the current interface.
- Confirm the interface
Check supported client navigation and dialogs after the change. Some canonical technical identifiers remain in English.
Invite teammates#
- Open Settings → Team
Confirm the active workspace because invitations and roles apply only to that organization.
- Add one or more email addresses
Enter the intended recipients and remove any accidental or duplicate entries before sending.
- Choose a role
Use admin for organization management, member for normal collaboration, and guest for limited participation. Use the least privilege that fits the work.
- Send the invitations
Submit once and review the Pending list. The recipient accepts or declines during onboarding.
Manage active members and pending invitations#
- Review Active members
Confirm each person and current role before changing access.
- Edit a role deliberately
Changing a role can add or remove access to datasets, pipelines, billing-sensitive actions, or organization settings.
- Review Pending invitations
Resend an invitation when the interface offers the action near expiry, or delete an invitation that is no longer needed.
- Confirm the result
Refresh the list and verify the new role or invitation state.
Understand permission layers#
- Organization roles control workspace-level settings and broad access: admin, member, guest, or disabled.
- Dataset collaboration distinguishes owner, editor, and viewer; available mutations depend on ownership and collaborator role.
- Pipeline collaboration distinguishes owner and viewer; lifecycle-changing actions are generally creator-controlled.
- Plan, quota, verified-email, data-type, enabled-service, and resource-state gates can further restrict an otherwise permitted action.
- An unavailable button should be investigated as a permission or state boundary, not bypassed through repeated requests.
